PHP Québec is the professional association of PHP users in the province of Québec.

We promote PHP and Open Source technologies to professionals, companies and gouvernomental institutions by organising monthly meetings in the urban areas.

We also organise, social activities web technical and non-technical people exchanges ideas and tough on various topcis.Among these activities you will find the PHP Québec barbecu, the famous PHP Beer/Cheers!

Since December 2003 I act has: president, motivator, monthly meeting organiser,conference organiser and programmer.

The PHP Québec Conference, is the yearly Canadian Conference dedicated to PHP. It is held around the end of march of each year.

After the forth edition of the Conference, I am already looking forward to start working on the fith edition.

I basicly act has: President, project leader, sponsor contact, speaker contact, programmer.

I co-directed and produced the first PHP DVD ever!
It contains 6 hours of audio material, all subtitled in French and English, all the speakers slides, plus the best PHP applications.

I am currently working on the 2006 CDROM. I also produced the 2004-2005 PHP Québec CDROM and
The cdroms have from 20 to 27 hours of audio material in MP3 format!

I am currently (spring 2006) developping this small class that will fetch jobboom.com, monster.ca, workopolis.com and looks for jobs according to a specific key word. It then generates a RSS feed with the results.
